After earning my B.E. (Information Technology), I worked for some time at Amdocs, building telecom billing systems for global clients such as Excelcom Indonesia and Rogers Canada. But soon, I discovered that that was not the ladder I wanted to climb.
After a lot of soul searching, I (re-)discovered my passion for education, and began working towards combining my other passion (technology) with it. I immersed myself in the completely new (for me) world of teaching, and later co-founded Examify.com, a product that helped students study smarter. Although we got more than 100,000 users in 10 weeks with zero marketing expenditure, we could not achieve product market fit.
This failure taught me about the gaps in my own knowledge and experience, and opened my eyes to the world of design thinking.
I’m today filling those gaps by learning everything I can about Product Management and User Experience Design at the School of Information, UC Berkeley, where I was awarded the School of Information Fellowship (the highest award for an incoming student),
When I’m not working, I love traveling (especially on my motorcycle), taking photographs and chatting with strangers.
I get excited by new products that improve people’s lives. If you like my work (or not), I hope you reach out to chat (or teach me how to improve)!
